August 3 marked the 20th anniversary of the founding of Guangdong Kaihua Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. To celebrate the milestone, the company held an anniversary event attended by leaders of Leliu Sub-district and related government departments.
The celebration dinner began at 17:30, bringing together guests and employees of Kaihua and its subsidiaries at 139 banquet tables for a feast of Cantonese cuisine.
The anniversary gala opened at 19:00. In his speech, Chairman and General Manager Mr. Mai Zhirong looked back on key moments in the company’s twenty-year history, thanked employees for their dedication and customers for their strong support, and affirmed that Kaihua will keep innovating, pursue professional excellence and build out its upstream and downstream supply chain.
The first part of the evening honored employees with more than ten years of service, who received “Loyal Dedication” and “Special Contribution” awards in recognition of their hard work over the years.
Dance and magic performances by professional artists alternated with songs, dances, a comedy sketch and a poetry recital by employees. After five rounds of lucky draws, nearly 400 gifts were handed out as everyone shared in the celebration.
